Jetty 1, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront

Jetty 1 in the Victoria Basin, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, has been declared a national heritage site. At the end of the jetty is the Robben Island Embarkation Building, used as the transit point for prisoners sent to Robben Island.

The jetty is closed to the public, because it is part of the working harbour. There is open access to the Robben Island Embarkation Building.
