Swing Bridge

The bridge swings over the link between the Alfred Basin and the Victoria Basin in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The original bridge was designed and constructed in 1997 and connected the two sides of the V&A Waterfront for 22 years. It was replaced in 2019 with the current structure which is twice as wide at 4 m to allow more pedestrian traffic. It is 42 m long.
